QA Engineer

Position Overview:

We are hiring a QA Engineer to join our team at Programiz. The ideal candidate will ensure that good code (working software) reaches our customers at the speed of light and that bugs are promptly addressed

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience with manual and automation testing

• Hands-on experience in E2E test automation framework (Selenium/ Cypress/ Playwright or any other automation tools)

• Strong knowledge of testing principles and methodologies

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Author thorough bug reports to enhance problem understanding

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases

• Develop and maintain behavior-driven automated tests using relevant tools

• Write and execute tests to ensure the functionality and quality of APIs, leveraging tools like Postman

• Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker, and the ability to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline

• Prioritize and execute SQA test plans based on a defined sprint schedule

• Collaborate with the Project Development team to ensure consistent project execution
